105mm Howitzer airlifted to New Guinea
Lt General George Kenney examines the first 105mm Howitzer to be air lifted to the front line on New Guinea. Not enough heavy artillery was provided for the fighting in Papua, where it would have been very valuable against Japanese bunkers.
