A fore and aft sense antenna is installed on the top of the plane by stretching a spring tensioned copper wire from the 104A mast antenna at Station 4.1 to a mast installed at Station 7.3, with an insulator half way between the two masts seperating the two lead-inb wires to the No.1 compass receiver and the No.2 compass receiver.
